HO CHI MINH CITY MARITIME ADMINISTRATION VISITS THE PORT & LOGISTICS BUSINESS COMMUNITY IN CAI MEP – THI VAI

On September 11th, 2025, a group of the Ho Chi Minh City Maritime Administration, led by Mr. Vo Minh Tien – Director, conducted a field survey on key shipping channels and maritime areas, including Vung Tau – Thi Vai, Dinh River, to assess the current situation and ensure effective safety management in maritime activities.

Following the survey, the delegation met with the port and logistics business community in Cai Mep at a meeting held at Vina Logistics Corporation (VNL)’s head office.

At the meeting, representatives of enterprises presented their business results, shared difficulties, and reaffirmed their commitment to strictly follow regulations on maritime safety, fire prevention, and public security. At the same time, they also proposed that the Maritime Administration continue to cooperate and supporte in developing policies and legal frameworks, creating a fair business environment, and promoting sustainable development.

Speaking at the meeting, the leader of the Maritime Administration acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of the business community. He also affirmed that after the merger, the Maritime Administration will continue to ensure unified and consistent management; support and create favorable conditions for Cai Mep – Thi Vai to grow steadily and effectively, contributing to the development of the maritime economy and country’s international integration.
