VINA LOGISTICS OIL SPILL RESPONSE ON THE LONG TAU RIVER

On April 26, 2025, Vina Logistics (VNL) received an urgent directive from the Ho Chi Minh City Port Authority regarding emergency rescue and oil spill response following the collision between the bulk carrier GLENGYLE and the container ship KMTC SURABAYA on Saigon–Vung Tau shipping channel. Immediately, VNL mobilized specialized vehicles, equipment, and an experienced response team to the site, and worked in close coordination to conduct rescue and spill response operations under emergency conditions.

After 8 consecutive days, VNL completed all assigned tasks with utmost safety and efficiency. VNL’s timely and professional engagement reaffairmed our leading position in the field of maritime rescue and oil spill response in the region. This contribution played a vital role in protecting the environment and maintaining the smooth operationok of marine traffic.
